FDM 3D printing · AP Design

3D printing, approached as a production decision.

We produce one-off parts, prototypes and carefully considered small runs, treating geometry, material, orientation and finish as parts of the same technical choice.

01Overview

From a digital file to a dependable physical part.

A successful print takes more than pressing start. We review the model, identify risks and tolerances, choose an appropriate build strategy and agree the finish the part actually needs. If your file is production-ready, the route can be direct. If it needs work, we make that clear before manufacturing begins.

02

What the work can include.

File review

Geometry, wall thickness, scale and fine features checked for issues that could affect the result.

Material guidance

PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA and technical materials considered against the part’s intended use.

One-offs and small runs

Flexible production for a single component, replacement part, sample or limited quantity.

Tailored finishing

Clean functional parts or a more refined treatment, depending on how the object will be used and seen.

03

The important decisions happen before the print starts.

01

Review

We assess the file, dimensions, quantity, use case and visual expectations.

02

Configure

We define material, orientation, strength, supports and surface quality.

03

Produce

We manufacture the part with consistency and repeatability kept under control.

04

Finish

We remove supports, inspect the result and apply the agreed level of finishing.

A practical starting point

Already have a 3D file? Start there.

Use the form to describe the part, share dimensions and quantity, and attach a 3D file if available. We prepare the quote after a technical review of the file and the real requirements.
